We've recently implemented a new DNS pool system that will automatically redirect you to the closest Atrum server based on your geographic location. To make use of it, you can use the irc.atrum.org pool as per normal.

For users that are having issues trying to connect to our default ports (6667, etc) due to connectivity issues or a firewall, we've setup port21.atrum.org (use port 21) and port80.atrum.org (use port 80).

We have recently merged with the Furion IRC network. A big thanks to all involved and an even bigger welcome to our new staff members and more importantly, users. We hope you are all happy here on Atrum and if you have any questions or complaints (or compliments), please don't hesitate to let us know.

At the same time we have dropped a few policies previously in effect, most notably our bot rules. You are now welcome to bring any bot you like onto the network without having to obtain permission first, you also do not need to keep the bot in #bots.
